When observing the world I imagine it as an abstract. When I create art, visual parallels of my experience occur in my work.

My intention is to interact with the media and the process until I reach a point of equilibrium or rightness that I recognize with my body and my eyes: the references ebb and flow as I work, but are not the purpose of the work.

I want the viewers to find their own resonances: I don’t want them to harden into a visual gestalt, but to remain elusive and evocative.
